Congratulations to Savina and Narend, for winning the franchisee of the month award for March 2022. Savina and Narend are one of Clean Planet’s South Auckland Commercial Franchisee owners. Originally from Fiji, this franchisee owner couple has been with Clean Planet for over 3 years.
After 17 years working as a Nurse, Savina wanted to start a business of her own. In search of different opportunities, Savina heard from her friends Ron and Nick about Clean Planet and enquired further to build a business of their own. Ron and Nick were existing franchise owners with Clean Planet, then introduced Savina and Narend to Clean Planet and helped the couple to their dream of owning a business.
“Growing with Clean Planet was an amazing journey” states Savina. She grew her business with Clean Planet over the years. Starting from Papatoetoe and nearby regions she has further extended her business and shifted to the far south of Auckland to the Pukekohe region.
Brendon Coffey, Master Regional Franchise owner in the South Auckland region, had some good words to say about his fellow franchise Savin and Narend Brendon States “Savina and Narend never questioned what was required but stepped in to help where ever they could without hesitation while managing their own normal sites. Recently Savina and Narend were very helpful in assisting other franchisees when they had to isolate because of positive COVID tests. In addition, there was very positive feedback from the clients whom they assisted. They are to be commended for their initiative and proactive approach to their business and Clean Planet brand”
“At this difficult time with the COVID pandemic, even with lower numbers of staff, we tried to help out other franchisees. We struggled through it during the time, but we did make some extra bucks during this COVID period” says Savina.
When asked about Savina’s clients, she say; “They are very happy with us, and our services. We have numerous clients, the sites we clean are Home Care centers, corporate offices, pre-schools, and more…they have always commented on our good work!”
When asked about Clean Planet as a franchisee business and what they feel about it – Savina say’s “Clean Planet is a good franchisor to own a business with. All the managers are very approachable and mainly Brendon, our MRF manager, was very helpful. The head office delivers us training while we joined, and the field Managers of South Auckland – Sally and Prasant have always helped us to make our workflow smooth”.
